Pineapple Princess

Coming off the rollicking success of our show in the Outer Sunset, your dear friends The Lava Rats are taking it to the bars again.  This time we'll be playing at Annie's Social Club in the ever-so happening SoMa district.  We’re reuniting with our good friends from the East Coast, The Crimson Ghosts as they are taking to the road again.  If you missed the last time they came through town, SHAME ON YOU!  It was one of the better shows we Rats have ever played, and it helps when you’re playing with a band as awesome as these guys.  For those of you who don’t know, they are a surf instrumental Misfits cover band, and they are every bit as amazing as that sounds.  We’ll also be joining our south of the border buddies The LaTEENOS, who are the only band that we know who give out chicharrones in their live show.  That is, of course, unless la migra finds them first. 

Either way, come check out some amazing music.  The lovely ladies of Pineapple Princess will be kicking off the night with their ukulele-fueled awesomeness.  We promise plenty of bang for your buck, and at less than two dollars per band, that is setting the bar mighty low.  Either way, there’s no better way to kick off the summer than by enjoying some awesome surf music.  We’re even debuting a new cover tune, so you’ll have to be there to experience it firsthand.

WHY: Because it’s been so long since you’ve seen us and we’re playing great tunes at a club we’ve never performed at before.  Plus you get a handful of great bands along with the Lava Rat experience.
