BILL BERGSTROM -- GUITARS

Bill Bergstrom is the dashing, gallant frontman of the Lava Rats. He has more guitars than he has fingers, and is out of toes to count them on. Having played guitar for some seventeen odd years now, he has truly found a home in the reverb-drenched tones of surf that he cranks out day and night. After forming The Lava Rats with his trusty sidekick, Taylor, he has gone on to pen the entire Lava Rats songbook, including all tracks on both CDs. Essentially he has foregone sleep for hours of coffee-fueled creativity and madness to keep the band going, and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Thank heavens he’s got Rodd and Taylor around to help keep him on track and help keep the sound of the Lava Rats fresh. When he is not busy rocking out, Bill keeps his nose buried deep in books upon books upon books, as he is pursuing his Master’s degree in literature.
